Last Friday was one of the best outings with my mates!
The gathering was planned weeks ago, few can’t make it.
Especially Serah & Swee Kitt!
Serah talks awfully too much during the planning and ended up not going, lol
So on that day itself, about 13 of us attend the gathering.
Mau the prawn sadist!
Chris the chicken griller who got no chicken at last!
Eric the eat less draw more!
Benjamin the joker!

Elin the rude bising margarine lime chicken eat and throw cake super bising non stop annoying girl!

and of course the host,
Me, Jovi the prawn eater! I think I killed about 20-25 live prawns and ate all of them!
The venue was at Eight Eight Seafood Restaurant, which is a steamboat/bbq grill buffet restaurant at Bukit Raja.
It was RM24 per adult and RM18 per student.
Most of us who attended the gathering were ex-la sallian students. All boy school.
Boys would be boys, we eat like cannibals!
Mau has his own plate which he calls “Beheading plate“
He beheads the live prawns on the plate, sticks a skewer into the prawn’s ass.
Poor delicious so fresh prawns.

Its legs are all still moving even without the head.

Anyway, I brought Yee Sang from Puchong, and Christopher brought fresh salmon with 3 huge limes for the Yee Sang.
We didn’t finish it, wasn’t that good. Except for the salmon!
Ended up having extra limes, they grilled the chicken marinade it with lime, fried with margarine.
Guys have better cooking skills than girls nowadays.
Our table’s a huge mess!

Wee Kiat says, ” That’s the restaurant’s whole year profit on the table, eaten by us.”
LOL

Also the day before, I baked a Moist Chocolate Cake.
Then I decide to bring it to the gathering as an add on.
I made my own ganache, then iced the cake with it.
Voila! A Moist Chocolate Fudge Cake.
STUPID Elin cut the cake before I can take picture of it!
My lesson is, never to use moist cake for a fudge cake, as they might think the cake as “uncooked” when its not.
Its too moist, need to reduce water.
Benjamin said its too dry, wtf.
MOIST BENJAMIN! MOIST!

and also,
NEVER BRING CAKE TO BUFFET GATHERING!
After that meal, everyone was full.
Adding on a cake only makes them bloat! HAHAH!
After cake and bill, we all decided to go I-City, Shah Alam.
A place which is decorated with lights, different colours and all!
Elin said she knows the way there, so everyone followed my car.
Her direction description is all shitty and fucked up!
She kept telling me, ” GO THIRD LANE, GO THIRD LANE!“
When she’s pointing right, wtf.
Her “third lane” is actually first lane on the highway.
Made all of us paid rm1.20 for toll, FOR NOTHING!
At the end, everyone followed Benjamin,
We reached the area, freaking jammed with cars!
So we had to park downhill and walk uphill.
Journey looks long, but its short when we all tell jokes and laugh like mad people on the way up!
Everyone took heaps of pictures! The lights looks amazing!

About “Jalan Multimedia“,
Few of us had to go to the loo real badly,
But since its an open space, there are no shops opened yet.
MEANS NO TOILET!
So we all ran to those construction areas, houses to be exact!
And did our business there.
As in piss, not shit!
We fertilize the new houses! HAHAH!
After that, Roland saw the street’s name.
And it was Jalan Multimedia.
Soon after that, the girls and Christopher found a toilet.
YES! FML TO THE MAX!!
Before leaving I-City, we took group photos!

Then some of them had to leave, and half of us went Fairies Cafe.
It was Hendrick, Eugene, Elin, Benjamin, Mau, Wee Kiat, Wai Ming, Joleen and Myself.
We ordered two buckets of Heineken. RM45 per bucket.
While two non drinkers ordered mocktails?
Daryl and Wai Ming. LOL
After that drinking session, we left and everyone had a good time.
Hendrick and Eugene fetch Elin home then came to my house.
While I fetch Wee Kiat, Mau and Wai Ming home.
They sat at my house until it was 4AM.
The day ended really well.
Gatherings like this makes you closer to your friends.
This should be repeated from time to time!
Next gathering would be POTLUCK!

Redzuawan Ismail, or better know as Chef Wan.
I googled his wikipedia profile, and I thought,
If he is Malaysia’s food ambassador, surely has achieved many awards and would have a very long wikipedia profile.
To my amazement! This is only what I got!

His early career was as an accountant. He says after seeing the popularity of many types of Asian food in Western countries he decided to promote Malaysia and other South East Asian countries using their food.

She’s really good in Chinese cooking, and I don’t see them asking her to host a cooking show for Hari Raya?
Every year, its always Chef Wan’s cooking program on tv.
Hate all his sissy movements.
The way he presents and teaches how to cook, he speaks in those short term Malay language.

I don’t have anything against him actually, just only this few thing of not changing the food ambassador position for so many years and him teaching how to cook Chinese food.
And also one of the tv programs when Floyd, a British chef/cook visited Malaysia and was food guided by Chef Wan.
Chef Wan introduced paus [steamed buns] to him, and told him its created by MALAYS!
He doesn’t know the facts, everyone knows pau came from China.

Resign from the Malaysia food ambassador position and let someone else who QUALIFIES to take the position!

My Dream in the Year of the Tiger
Wow! Its 2010, the year of the Tiger!
I’m 18 19 this year and I still haven’t really achieved anything yet.
Everyone dreams and have dreams of their own!
We always hope that one day our dreams will come true!
So this year, fortunate for us Nuffnangers!
Nuffnang and Tiger Beer will be making our wishes come true!
Tiger year sure must drink Tiger beer!
Other beer cannot ok?!

In order for Nuffnang and Tiger to full fill my dreams,
I’d have to write about my dreams! HAHAH!
I have heaps of dreams and wishes, I wonder when can I finish writing this post?
Shall start will a simple wish, that is possibly granted by human!
I like to bake and cook a lot, majority would be baking!
But at home, I’m lack of equipments, such as a mixer, an oven, digital weighing scale and so on.
At home, I only have a hand mixer, which easily gets hot and spoil if its used too long,
A conventional oven, too small for my products and also a small weighing machine that is not accurate at all!
A huge mixer for me would be awesome, a huge oven and also a digital weighing scale.
If I get those three items, one of my wish would have already been granted.
Also, I don’t drive a big car. Its alright. I’m fine and grateful with what I have.
But people are never satisfied with what they have.
I would also like my car to be modified, to look sporty, not dull.
That would also be my wish.
Its the Tiger year, I can’t keep Tiger’s as pets. I’m not in Indonesia.
But have I craved and wanted long ago, to keep a Siberian Husky as a pet!
They look like wolfs! And have the “fierce” factor.

Ah! I’ve traveled to London 3 times for the past few years, 2007 and 2008 if not mistaken.
London is a really nice place for a holiday!
